| Teachers also serve as advisors for a multiple grade-level group of about twenty scholars. Our goal is that scholars will remain in the same advisory group, with the same teacher, from freshman through senior year. The main purpose of advisory is to create and build positive relationships between scholars, as well as between teachers and scholars. Advisory topics will focus on creating community, academic advisement, postsecondary planning, and social and emotional learning. Advisors will also serve as the primary point of contact for the scholar’s family. |
