Senior Year

Senior scholars link together their learning and experiences to apply for college and career opportunities. Counselors and senior teachers work closely with scholars to develop a powerful story for them to tell about their learning and college readiness. Applications and resumes are fine-tuned to highlight each scholar’s strengths.

 

Scholars attend presentations from a wide variety of colleges in order to help them determine the college characteristics that match their learning style and career goals.  

Past college visits have included: University of California at Davis, Harvey Mudd 

College, Centre College, Dartmouth, and Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising.  The goal is to provide scholars with a window into different types of colleges.  Financial Aid workshops and presentations help families plan for college expenses, and college essay writing workshops by admissions counselors help our seniors craft the personal statements for their applications.
