Exploratory Block

Twice a week, scholars will participate in an Exploratory Block, or X-Block class. X-Block classes are student-designed electives that give scholars an opportunity to participate in activities in which they are interested. These classes are only limited by the imagination of the scholars and the teachers that help create them! X-Blocks are meant to be fun and enjoyable, as well as to help scholars get to know other students and teachers across villages and grade levels. Examples of X-Blocks include Spirit Club, Spin Bikes, Yearbook, Cake Decorating, and Robotics. X-Block may also be utilized as an intervention period for those scholars who need additional academic or behavioral support.
